Chief Financial Officer

The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of the Make-A-Wish Foundation of New Jersey, a key executive officer reporting to the President/CEO is responsible for the business, financial, human resources, facilities management and information technology operations of the Foundation. The position requires the preparation of timely and accurate financial statements, the maintenance of strict accounting controls as well as the creation of detailed financial reporting for all departments, the Board of Trustees, and the national office. In addition the CFO oversees the preparation of the annual budget that is in excess of $6MM and coordinates the completion of annual audited financials and the Federal (Form 990) and NJ State Tax Returns.  The CFO also coordinates the efficiency and effectiveness of the Foundation’s operations related to Information Technology, facility management and Human Resources. This executive supervises a staff of 4 professionals including the Director of Information Technology, the Donor Records Assistant, the Accounts Payable Manager/Office Manager and an Administrative Assistant.
