Make-A-Wish® New Jersey is proud of the way it manages and safeguards the generous contributions it receives from individual donors, corporations and other organizations. We are committed to spending every donated dollar as wisely as possible and every effort is made to maximize our efficiency. Every dollar our chapter receives aids us in our mission to grant the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions to enrich the human experience with hope, strength and joy.
Based on our 2011 audited results, Make-A-Wish New Jersey spent 80% of its revenue on wish granting and related program expenses. This percentage well exceeds the standard upheld by organizations that monitor the work of charities and we continue to find ways to do more with each dollar we receive without compromising the quality of the wishes we grant.
Our financial statements are audited by an independent accounting firm with oversight from an audit committee. Our latest audited financial statements and IRS 990 forms are available in PDF format. If you have any questions about our financial policies and standards, please contact our Chief Financial Officer at 800-252-9474.
