Growing Up With Loukoumi

loukoumi.jpgNew York attorney and children’s book author Nick Katsoris wanted to create a project to encourage children that if they believe in themselves, their dreams can come true. In the new book Growing Up With Loukoumi, a lamb named Loukoumi (Greek for “sweet”) doesn’t know what she wants to be when she grows up, but her friends, Gus the bear, Fistiki the cat, Dean the dog and Marika the monkey, each help Loukoumi realize that if she looks inside her heart, she can be anything, because if you believe in yourself, your dreams will come true!

The book includes a narrated CD featuring the voices of Grammy winner Gloria Gaynor, Oscar-winning actress Olympia Dukakis, CBS national correspondent Alexis Christoforous, American Idol’s Constantine Maroulis, and Guiding Light star Frank Dicopoulos. The CD also includes an original song from Gloria Gaynor called “Believe.” $2 from the sale of each book/CD will benefit the Make-A-Wish Foundation® .

Growing Up With Loukoumi is available at thousands of retail outlets as well as at www.loukoumi.com.
