Workplace and Matching Gifts

Workplace fundraising is a positive, rewarding and fun way to motivate and further engage employees in your organization. Studies have shown that one of the factors contributing to engagement in the workplace is pride about the company’s support for the community. Through workplace fundraising such as enrolling in an employee giving campaign, taking advantage of corporate matching gifts program, or planning a fundraising event, your employees will help Make-A-Wish Foundation of New Jersey further our mission and will provide your employees with an enriching experience.  Some of the benefits of workplace fundraising include: increased employee motivation and retention, team building, professional development, creating a sense of accomplishment and pride, encouraging involvement in the community and a positive perception of the organization amongst employees.  To get your organization involved in a workplace fundraising campaign, please contact John Toomey at jtoomey@wishnj.org or call 908-964-5055 x105.

Workplace Giving
The Make-A-Wish Foundation of New Jersey can be the beneficiary of your company’s workplace giving campaign.  For more information, contact John Toomey, 908-964-5055, ext. 105.

United Way
If your company’s employee giving program only includes the United Way, look for the Make-A-Wish Foundation of New Jersey in the listing of charities. If we are not represented, look for a “donor option” line on your giving campaign form and write in “Make-A-Wish Foundation of New Jersey.” Most local United Way programs allow donors to specify a charity other than one from their list of participants. Your local United Way will then forward your gift directly to the Foundation.
