Hospital stays and medical treatments will deprive many of our wish children of their life at home with their family and at school with their friends. Their wish will allow them to be swept away by what that one magical experience will hold in store for them and the memories that will last a lifetime. Last year we granted 471 wishes – a new record for our chapter and we are striving to reach more children again this year to bring hope, strength and joy back into children’s lives who have experienced the pain, sadness and anxiety of a life-threatening illness.
All you have to do is read these wish stories to understand the power of a wish.
