There is nothing more exciting than embarking on a new adventure, especially when you have just finished your last round of chemotherapy. This was true for Jordan, who had just finished his chemotherapy and was getting ready to embark on a cruise!
When Jordan wished to go on a Walt Disney Cruise Line® adventure, he did not know what he was getting himself into! He was filled with wonder, excitement, and he was ready to see the “big slide, the big ocean, and of course, Mickey Mouse!” The delight began when he took his first plane ride to the port where his other new experience was going to take place—the cruise!
Everything on the cruise was fantastic but it was also a lot to take in. There were many activities to choose from along with rooms overflowing with Disney movie themes. There was a room designed to look like Andy’s Room from Toy Story with larger-than-life figures from the movie. Another room was designed to look like the inside of Monster’s Inc, which also doubled as a play house, and a room styled to look like the submarine from Finding Nemo. Along with all of the excitement found in each of the activity rooms, there were also daily character meet and greets! With all the options onboard, Jordan found he had a difficult time choosing all the activities he wanted to do!
Jordan’s mom reported that the restaurants were incredible, the shows were Broadway quality and the character meet and greets were worth the wait!
